A Memorial to our MOBster Pet Family

As is in life they were there for us, and as they have passed over the Rainbow Bridge, our pets are with us still. Their memories can never be erased from our hearts, and they will always remain an integral part of our lives.  This is our tribute to our MOBster pets - those who have gone before us to pave the way - we will not be afraid when we meet them at the Bridge - they will be wagging their tails, jumping up and down, meowing and purring in love and glee, and wondering what ever took us so long to be with them. They will guide us through the next life with love and affection, and it will be as if we never left them.  To our dear doggies, kitties, and other animal friends who have gone before us, we dedicate this page with love.

We have started a new feature to honor our babies who have gone before us. Please click on the links below to visit their web pages...

Every time a precious pet passes away a new star
appears in the heavens to watch over us
and make us feel the warmth and love.
All we need do is to look up and see the host of love above us.

Our Tribute to our Babies

I ONLY WANTED YOU

They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

I AM EVERYWHERE

Listen can you hear me,
though I am gone away?
Watch and can you see me,
as you toil through your day?

Can you smell my presence,
or feel my tender touch,
the wonder of the life we shared,
the life you miss so much?

Please, hear the gentle tinkling,
of the wind chimes in the breeze,
of the soft wind a door's opening makes,
will put your heart at ease.

Watch the dancing flowers,
or autumn leaves skipping by,
they dance and skip like I did,
before I had to die.

The heady scent of of leather leash,
the fresh smell of summer sun,
the smell of warm soft fur,
remember our days of fun.

The caressing touch of butterflies,
the feel of blankets warm,
remember how we cuddled,
when ere there was a storm.

Although my body failed me,
my souls  forever there.
Just look and touch and hear and feel,
for I am everywhere.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me.......*

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;
The sun will rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
Remembering how I'd lay my head
In your lap that special way.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too.

But when tomorrow starts without me.
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name
And petted me with her hand.
She said my place was ready,
In Heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
But, as I turned to heel away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life I never thought
That I would have to die.
I had so much to live for,

So many "sits" and "downs" to do
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.
I thought about our lives together,
I know you must be sad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.
Remember how I'd nudge your hand,
And poke you with my nose?
The Frisbee I would gladly chase,
The bad guy, I'd "bark and hold".

If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for awhile,
I'd wag my tail and kiss you,
Just so I could see you smile.
But, then I fully realized,
That this could never be;
For emptiness and memories
Will take the place of me.
And when I thought of treats and toys,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you and when I did,
My dog-heart filled with sorrow.
But then I walked through Heaven's gate,
And felt so much at home;
As God looked down and smiled at me,
From His beautiful golden throne.
He said, "This is eternity,
And now we welcome you,
Today your life on earth is past,
But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last;
For you see, each day’s the same day,
There's no longing for the past.
Now you have been so faithful,
So trusting, loyal and true;
Though there were times you did things,
You knew you shouldn't do.
But good dogs are forgiven,
And now at last you're free;
So won't you sit here by my side,
And wait right here with me?"
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart.
For every time you think of me,
I'm right there, in your heart.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
