
Oatmeal Drop
Biscuits
Makes 16
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
3 Tablespoons Stick margarine-chilled and cut into small pieces
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 cups quick-cooking Oats
1/2 cup Skim Milk
3 Tablespoons Honey
1 large Egg- lightly beaten
Cooking spray
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
DIRECTIONS:
Place first four ingredients in a food processor; process 10 seconds or until
mixture resembles course meal. Add oats; process 5 seconds. Combine
milk, honey, and egg in a bowl; add to flour mixture. Process 5 seconds or
just until moist.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet coated with cooking
spray. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
Serving size: 1 biscuit
Points = 2 exchanges: 1 starch, 1/2 fat
