Day 2 continued
Pat had only one wish on his wish list and that was to go to Wall Street. Unfortunately, as an aftermath of 9/11, we could not go into the New York Stock Exchange. As well, most of that side of the street was blocked off to pedestrian traffic - you had to have a special pass to get in.
They are still doing a lot of construction work there, but we were able to walk down it, and if you look close enough, you might be able to see the Wall Street sign.
This is the New York Stock Exchange..
and this is an 'official site' for mourners from the 9/11 disaster...
But, here's one of the best things about our whole trip!!
I thought he was going to get a hardhat and help them!
Notice - Pat realized his job on this vacation was to carry my packages!
